The Ladycats season continues to roll along, racking up win after win, including three more in the last week over Buffalo (last Tuesday), 9-1, at Crest Ridge (Thursday), 15-0 and over Stover, 16-1 at home on Monday night. Their record now stands at an impressive 16-1 and they still sit in the #4 spot in the MHSFCA Class 2 rankings.

In front of a good home crowd last Tuesday, Tanna Howe collected 3 hits in 3 at-bats, including a 2-run homerun over the centerfield fence, as Warsaw defeated Buffalo 9-1.

The Ladycats got on the board in the bottom of the first after Haylee Cobb singled and then scored on a double by Adison Sherrill. Sherrill came around to score on Howe's blast to make it 3-0 at the end of the first inning.

A single by Haylee Cobb extended the Ladycats lead to 4-0 after two.

Warsaw tacked on 1 more run in the third and then rallied for 4 more in the sixth, thanks to a triple from Elizabeth Winters and then back-to-back-to-back-to-back doubles by Cobb, Sherrill, Howe and Brylee Brewster.

Brewster also got the win in the circle for the Ladycats. She struck out 15 Lady Bison batters and surrendered just 1 run on 2 hits over 7 innings.

On Monday, the Ladycats made short work of a Stover Lady Bulldogs team in a 16-1 win.

Haylee Cobb added 3 more hits to her stat line while Tanna Howe and Brylee Brewster both racked up 2.

After falling behind 1-0 in the top of the first, it was all Ladycats with 1 run in each of the second and fourth innings, but most of the damage was done in the third when Warsaw plated 14.

Bri Fellers got the win in the circle. She went 4 innings and gave up 1 run on 3 hits and struck out 5.
