The Warsaw Wildcats came into the opening game of the season with high expectations. The talk around town was that they would handle Cass Midway as Lincoln did in their jamboree a week ago. However, the Wildcats stumbled to a 19-6 loss as the Vikings’ speed on defense, passing and the Wildcats mistakes proved to be difference.
Head Coach Ryan Boyer commented, "There were some good things and some bad things. Our blocking and defense hurt us as well as penalties earlier on. Both teams played the first half like a season opening game.
