The Lincoln Cardinals traveled to Sedalia to play arch rival, the Sacred Heart Gremlins. When the game ended, Lincoln had a wild 49-46 victory. However, there were a few underlying stories woven into the score. Paul Harvey would have loved to have told "the rest of the story ".
The Cardinals jumped out to a 16-4 first quarter lead over a cold shooting Gremlin team. Also, strange was that there were just three fouls in the quarter.
Lincoln had a very good first half to say the least.
