Barbara S. Lomax, age 64, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away April 15, 2020 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was born on June 25, 1955 at Lakeside Hospital the daughter of Patrick and Betty (Gaylord) Lomax. 
She was a 1973 graduate of Truman High School in Independence, Missouri.  Shortly after graduating she moved with her family to Willowick, Ohio and lived in that area for 22 years.  During that time she worked as a solderer for Dixie Narco.  In 1992 she relocated back to Missouri making her home in Warsaw after taking a medical retirement. 
Barbara loved to crochet, collect Tweety and Pepsi items and working puzzles.  She enjoyed listening to Tradio and going to garage sales.  She was fun spirited and loved children although she had none of her own.  She had a very close relationship with each of her nieces and nephews.  Barbara loved the Lord and old church hymns.  She was baptized in 1967 at Blue Summit Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Lomax in 2005 and her brother-in-law, Alan Hurt in 2012.
She is survived by her mother Betty Lomax, of the home, three brothers; Gerald Lomax (Tina), Calvin Lomax (Angelia) and Raymond Lomax, all of Warsaw, two sisters, Elaine Lomax, of Warsaw and Patty Hurt, of Sedalia, Missouri, as well as many nieces and nephews.  She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
A private family graveside will be held at National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the Reser Funeral Home or Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
