A cold floor led to an early deficit that the Wildcats couldn’t claw back from as they fell to Stockton, 52-32, in the opening game of the 2020-21 season at home last Tuesday night.

The visiting Tigers, on the other hand, connected on several early shots that gave them a 17-6 advantage at the end of the first quarter.

Stockton doubled the offensive output of the Wildcats in the second period, 8-4, to take a 25-10 lead at the half.
Warsaw fell behind 41-21 at the end of three and then matched the Tigers point-for-point at 11-11 in the fourth, but the damage was done early as Stockton slipped out of town with the 52-32 final.
Trey Palmer led the Wildcats with 18 points.
The Tigers’ Drew Wheeler led all scorers with 24.
