Fellowship Of Christian Athletes Comes To Warsaw

This week, Monday through Thursday, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes are having a four day camp for boys and girls from grades 3-5 on Monday and Tuesday and 6-8 on Wednesday and Thursday at WHS.
The activities include volleyball, baseball, softball, football and basketball. They also have Bible devotions and refreshments for the kids.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an international non-profit ministry based in Kansas City, MO. Their mission is to “help lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.” Its vision is “to see the world transformed by the Lord Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.”
Kathy Wiesen headed up the activities this week with help from various coaches, parents and kids in the community.
FCA was founded in 1954 by Eastern Oklahoma A&M basketball coach Don McClanen, who later resigned to become full-time director.
