Pansy Etta Oberhelman, age 96 of Warsaw, formerly of Independence, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 at her home with her daughter Jacqueline by her side.  She was born on June 28, 1925 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse and Etta Baker.
Pansy grew up in Emporia, Kansas.  On November 12, 1949 she was united in marriage to Forrest Oberhelman in Kirksville, Missouri.  They made their home there for a short time until moving to Independence, where Pansy worked as a waitress, seamstress and bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward for 23 years.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years.  Daughters Etta Rose Roberson and Bonnie Sue Wright, Sisters, Mary and Glenda and her parents.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Pansy Young (Reggie), Jacqueline Oberhelman and Peggy Rodriguez.  11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends.
Pansy was a loyal wife, supportive, loving mother and grandma.  She will be forever missed and loved.  Prayer of peace and comfort to all.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to services.  Graveside service and interment will follow at the Shawnee Cemetery in Warsaw.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Benton County Hospice, c/o Reser Funeral Home, P.O.  Box 910, Warsaw, Missouri 65355.
