Number one seeded Slater jumped out to a 7-2 lead over second seed Lincoln in the championship game of the Otterville tournament and never looked back.
Freshman Kyle Eckhoff would keep Lincoln in the game with ten first half points. It was 13-5 after one and 27-18 at the half.
Lincoln made a run in the second quarter on a fake and layup by Eckhoff and a three off the bench by Levi Betts to make it 13-12 at the 6:22 mark.
The usually high scoring Bo Kroenke was held to four points with two in each half. Devon Parrott came in the second half and hit a much needed three, but it was too little, too late, as Lincoln fell victim to Slaters press and larger inside players. Lincoln never made it to the free-throw line in the first half and was 3-3 from the charity strip in the second.
It was 43-30 after three. Salter would move ahead by 20 in the fourth at 54-34 with two minutes to go and Lincoln Coach Tyler Burke would clear his bench.
Eckhoff ended with a game high 14 points. Nate Hess 5,Connor Lynde 5 Betts 5.
Lincoln defeated Northwest in the first round 61-30 and Smithton 46-37 in the semi-finals. Kroenke had 18 points against Northwest and Eckhoff 12. Eckhoff had 14 to lead Lincoln against Smithton.
