Top Rated Lincoln Show Why They Are Ranked Number One In Blowout

Well, the Lincoln Cardinals are openly a little cocky right now and they showed why as they disposed of a tough North Calloway squad 40-8.
They led from the start as senior QB Jackson Beaman showed off his arm with a 39 yard bomb to Nate Hesse for the score with 2:38 left in the first. On three and five, Beaman found Kroenke for 17 yards to set up a nine yard run by yours truly and they led 14-0 as Devon Parrott was perfect on both extra points.
Beaman would find sure handed Hesse again for 36 yards. Nothing was easy, as North Calloway forced several fourth down conversions throughout the contest. On fourth and one , Beaman took off for 41 yards and the sweet TD. The PAT was blocked this time and it was 20-0 with three minutes to go in the contest. Beaman would throw an 42 yard interception but  the defense held on for the 20-0 halftime lead.
In the first minute of the second half, Beaman would make a statement with a 39 yard TD hurl. PAT failed. Beaman’s injured arm over the summer seems to be completely healed,
North Calloway would score making it 26-8.
Beaman would finish the scoring with two TD passes. One to Bo Kroenke and another to freshman Connor Lynde. Game would end 40-8.
Beaman was 17-26 in the air. He had three TDs and Two interceptions. He also threw for 253 yards. He was 19 for 148 yards rushing. Parker Engles had 14 tackles, Levi Betts had 11 and Tanner Bays had seven. Freshman Kyle Echoff had an interception.
