Verlon H. Keeth

Verlon H. Keeth, age 66, of Lincoln, Missouri passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Villages of St. Peter’s Nursing Home, in St. Peter’s, Missouri.  He was born on May 9, 1951 in Tuscumbia, Missouri the son of Verlon Edward and Della Rose (Barbie) Keeth.
Verlon graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969.  He worked for the union with his father helping to build Truman Dam.  He attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri majoring in architectural engineering.  He was also a member of ROTC in college.
Verlon was first married to Linda Bollin having two daughters Amy Janish and April Keeth.  Later he was married to Nadine (Dillon) Soles, having one daughter, Verla (Keeth) Turner.
Verlon resided in Lincoln, Missouri for the majority of his life where he started Keeth Construction and did construction work for many years for residents of Benton County and the surrounding areas.
He loved nature and enjoyed to hunt, fish, spend time in nature and plant his own garden.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, kids and grand kids.  He owned a farm for several years where he raised livestock and owned various farm animals.  He enjoyed riding horses, attending rodeos and livestock auctions. Verlon even spent time in his younger years breaking horses.  He was Christian in his beliefs and was a member of different churches throughout his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents Verlon E. Keeth and Della Rose (Barbie) Keeth, a sister Vernice Thompson and a nephew Ronald Johnson.
Verlon is survived by a brother, Vern Keeth, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, two sisters; Violet Johnson of Florida and Vera Maudlin, of Colorado, three daughters; Amy Janish, of O’Fallon, Missouri, April Myers, of Leavenworth, Kansas and Verla Turner, of Columbia, Missouri, six grandchildren; Danielle Holmes, Mitchell and Montgomery Palmer, Steven Myers, Carlie Cox and Espalyn Turner, many cousins, nieces, nephews and loving family and friends.
Funeral Services for Verlon H. Keeth will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln, Missouri.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M.  Graveside Services will follow the funeral at the Sunnyside Cemetery near Lincoln.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the Davis-Miller Funeral Home 119 W. Main Street Lincoln, Missouri.
