Four Warsaw youth wrestlers, Hunter Dority 14u, 130 lbs, Bostyn Wilson, 8u,100 , Hoyt Miller 8u and 100 pounds, John Wilson ,10 U,100 lbs. earned to right to compete at state on March 8-10 at Kemper Arena in Kansas City.
Bostyn Wilson took fifth place. The top 16 kids in their weight class and age group across the state compete in the three day event. Three years in a row Warsaw has had a set of brothers, Bostyn and Hoyt Wilson make state. First time in the history this achievement has been accomplished. No doubt there more good things to come.
Coach Brian Phillips commented, “ The kids have really improved over the season and we are so proud of all of our wrestlers.” At this rate, the WHS wrestling team should be pretty solid as time goes by.
