Thomas Wesley Rose, 74 of Warsaw, went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on February 27, 2022.  Thomas was born on April 6, 1947 at his childhood home in Corder, MO.  He lived there until he married his surviving wife, Loretta Jean Rose on November 27, 1966.  Also surviving is a son, Timothy of Warsaw and a daughter, Christine Schelp (Shawn) of Blue Springs.  He is also survived by his sister, Lorraine Beattie of Warsaw.

Gennie Marie Rehmer, age 70, of Kansas City, Kansas and previously of Cole Camp, Missouri passed away on February 19, 2022.  Funeral services will be held Friday,  February 25th, 2022 at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs, KS. Visitation service at 10:00 am with funeral to follow at 11:00 am. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Monarch Watch for Monarch Butterfly’s.

Carl Edward Ireland, age 80, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri.  He was born on February 20, 1942 in Buckner, Missouri the son of John and Dora (Hudson) Ireland.

Alta May Held, 89, of Mason City, died Monday, February 28, 2022 at Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, 119 S. Georgia Ave., Mason City with Rev. C. A. Kress officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation with viewing will be held Monday evening, March 7 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 3rd St NE, Mason City and will resume one hour prior to the funeral service at the church

Beverly Bennett Lakin

Beverly Bennett Lakin, age 72, of Warsaw, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at her home.  She was born on December 13, 1949 in Adams, Massachusetts the daughter of George William Landry and Lorene Regina (Fierro) Landry.
 
She grew up in Southern California and graduated from Savanna High School in Anaheim, California.  She received her associates degree from Fullerton Junior College in Fullerton, California.  Beverly then went on to receive her cosmetology license.

Barbara Elizabeth Waisner, of Clinton, Missouri was born in Warsaw, Missouri on December 21, 1932 to Lena and Willard Glenn.  She went to be with Jesus on February 19, 2022 after a bout with pneumonia and never making a full recovery.
 

Marylyn Merle Algaier

Marylyn Merle Algaier, age 88, of Marionville, Missouri, passed away at 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville. She was born October 19, 1933, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Robert and Alberta (Seeger) Miller.
 
Marylyn was a 1951graduate of Falls City High School in Falls City, Nebraska, and received her associate degree in Applied Science from Longview College in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked for the IRS as an Investigator for large corporations for 35 years.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service. Bennie Doyle Davis, age 89, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Columbia, Missouri at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital. 
 
Bennie was born on December 18th, 1932 in Red Oak, Iowa to Dorothy and Hayden Davis.  Hayden, Dorothy, and little Bennie returned to Lincoln, Missouri shortly after his birth to make a living at farming.

Virginia (Mullins) Johnston, 64, of Warsaw, Missouri, died Monday afternoon, January 31, 2022, at her home in Warsaw.
 
She was born August 24, 1957, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Harry Lee Mullins and Beatrice June (Scammahorn) Mullins. She married Merrill C. Drake Jr. on April 3, 1982, in Lee’s Summit, Mo., and they were the parents of a son, Merrill C. “Trace” Drake.
