Lester Wayne Doeden, age 85, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri.  He was born on November 21, 1932 in Chana, Illinois, the son of Harm and Amanda Engelkes Doeden.

James Lewis Laughter, age 66 of Roach MO, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO.
The son of Walter Lewis and Jewell (Watson) Laughter was born November 10, 1951 in Akron, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John David Laughter; a brother-in-law, Gerald Burris; and a nephew, Ronald Gene Burris.
James was a member of the Beagle Club. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and fishing.

Jeffrey Linn Foote

Jeffrey Linn Foote, 53, formerly of Harrisonville, MO passed away March 18th, 2018, at his home in Warsaw, MO. Jeff was born June 20, 1964. 
Jeff graduated from Harrisonville High School in 1983 and enlisted in the Army in 1984. After returning from the service, he worked various jobs before moving to Warsaw, MO., where he was happily employed at Pecan Grove Campground.  
He was the son of Homer L. Foote, Jr and Donna Deshazer.   
He was preceded in death by his mother Donna, stepfather Woody and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

James L. Maples, 86, of Lathrop, passed away May 7, 2018 at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Jim was born July 8. 1931, in Henrietta, MO, the son of John and Virginia Maples. His parents preceded him in death. Jim grew up and attended school in Henrietta. He was a farmer and worked for the Kearney School District and City of Lathrop.

Douglas W. Bair

Douglas W. Bair, 57,  passed away May 12, 2018 at Warsaw, Missouri after a brief illness.  He was born on July 13, 1960 in Ottumwa, Iowa the son of Robert (Bob) and Donna Bair.  He graduated from Winnetonka High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1978.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Bair, of Warsaw, a son, John Michael Bair (Brandi) of Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter, Jessica McBee (Zack) of Downing, Missouri, a brother Mike Bair (Karen) of Kansas City, Missouri, two granddaughters, Olivia Bair and Payton McBee, many family members and loyal friends.

Veva H. (Salley) Atkins-Shannon

Veva H. (Salley) Atkins-Shannon, 95, of Parkville, MO passed away May 5, 2018.
Veva was born September 4, 1922 in Warsaw, MO to the late Everett W. and Mable M. Salley. She is also preceded in death by her 1st husband Roy H. Atkins, 2nd husband William D. Shannon, sister Vera H. (Jack) Salley Grissam and brother John G. Salley.

Darrell J. Beyer

Darrell J Beyer, age 86, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the Lincoln Community Nursing Home in Lincoln, MO. Darrell was born on January 15, 1932, near Bentonville, MO, the son of Amos and Mamie Henderson Beyer.
He grew up near the Avery community and graduated from Wheatland High School in 1949. Following graduation he worked for the MFA Exchange in Warsaw. On August 6, 1952, he was inducted into the United States Army and served his country until his honorable discharge on August 5, 1954. At that time he became a National Guard Reservist until 1960.

Mahlon White Miles was the great-great grandson of Enterprise founder Thomas Benton White and a cousin of current Enterprise Publisher James Mahlon White. Miles assisted at the newspaper over the years substituting as reporter, photographer and editor. His advice and support of the current publisher and staff was invaluable.

Theresa M. James
Theresa M. James, age 56, of Lincoln, Missouri passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri.  She was born on January 20, 1962 in Camden, New Jersey the daughter of Kenneth and Marlene (Hendrick) Ford.  She graduated from Clearview Regional High School in 1979 and was a waitress for many years in Branson, Missouri.  Theresa was a avid New York Yankees fan all her life.
She is preceded in death by her father and one son Josh Atwood, who passed away in infancy.
