Joann M. 
Joann Maude (Kelb) Butler, age 93, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Jefferson City Nursing & Rehab in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was born on August 12, 1927 at the family farm in Benton County, Missouri the daughter of Joe L. Kelb and Maud (Watson) Kelb.  Joann attended Lincoln High School for two years and graduated from Cole Camp High School in 1945.  She attended college in Warrensburg for one semester.
On December 17, 1945 she was united in marriage to Robert Abram Butler in Sedalia, Missouri.  This union was blessed with six children.  The family moved to Gila Bend, Arizona in 1965.  They owned Butler Shell Station and Joann was the office clerk for the Justice of the Peace in Gila Bend, Arizona.
After a divorce in 1976 Joann lived in Georgia and Florida before returning to Missouri.  Joann and Arnold A. Butler were married in 1983 and were managers of a hotel in Warsaw, until Arnolds death in 1989.
Joann moved to Texas, near her two daughters.  She met Doyle Hartman in 1993 and they became travel partners for many years, visiting Arizona in the winter and Colorado in the summer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Eva Thomas, Ethel Gerken, Lola Kinkead, a nephew Billy Joe Thomas, her ex-husband Robert A. Butler and husband Arnold A. Butler.
She is survived by six children; Pat White (Jim) of Elk Creek, Missouri, Donald Butler (Peg) of Red Oak, Texas, Barbara Butler of Cedar Hill, Texas, Robert Gary Butler of Arlington, Washington, Mary Six (Reynold) of Peoria, Arizona and Melody Cox of Pocatello, Idaho, fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.
A Celebration of Life and visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri.  Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery.
