John Wesley Foncannon, age 85, of Warsaw, MO went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 28, 2020 at Centerpoint Hospital, Independence, MO.  John was born on April 4, 1935 in Limon, CO to Floyd and Saloma (Ummel) Foncannon. John grew up on a farm north of Limon with his siblings, Billie and Dave. John also had a pet cow named Whitey.  He attended Limon Public Schools through the 8th grade.
On March 30, 1960 John was united in marriage to Pauline (Bigelow) Foncannon in Manitou Springs, CO.  From this union their daughter, Debbie, was born.
John enjoyed playing guitars, singing, writing songs and the occasional family “Hoe-Down”.  He enjoyed sharing the gospel through music at several different nursing homes and churches in Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri & Texas. This gospel trio was called the J P & D Gospel singers.
John served 22 years with the Limon Volunteer Fire Department serving his way up to Assistant Fire Chief. He also attended Missouri School of Auctioneer in 1978 and went on to run his own auctioneer company for several years.
John spent numerous years as a mechanic working for Harris Motors, running his own business, John’s Mobile Service and going into business with his brother operating John’s & Floyd’s Auto Repair & Service in Limon, Colorado  until retiring in 1997. In 2000, John & Pauline moved closer to their family near Edwards, MO.
John loved the Lord and faithfully attended Fountain of Praise Mennonite Church in Lincoln, MO. John’s family was his pride and joy.
John is survived by his wife, Pauline of 60 years. One daughter, Debbie (Foncannon) Johnson and husband, Steve of Warsaw,  MO,  3 granddaughters, Mindy (Mike) Brown of Redford, MO. Kyla (Scott) Frost of Lake Ozark, MO. Tiffany (Jordan) Brown of Bolivar, MO. Great Grandchildren, Kaleb Hunter Frost, Logan Michael Brown, Livi Rae Brown, L J Luther Brown, and coming in February, Andrew Wesley Brown. Also surviving is one brother, Floyd D Foncannon of Limon, CO. and many other nieces, nephews and friends. 
John was preceded in death by his parents Floyd & Saloma Foncannon and one sister, Billie Adelman.
Services will be Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, Missouri beginning at 11:00 A.M.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment will follow at Shawnee Cemetery, Warsaw, MO.
John loved the Lord and sharing the gospel.  In lieu of flowers the family asks donation be sent to Fountain of Praise Mennonite Church care of Reser Funeral Home, P.O. Box 910, Warsaw, MO 65355
