Rochelle Jones

Billie Rochelle Jones, 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Warsaw, Missouri, April 7, 2021. She was born December 28, 1935 in Ashland, Kansas to Mary Kathryn and Vance Markland.
Rochelle and Raymond R. Jones were married in Dodge City, Kansas on August 24, 1962. They were married 52 years.
For many years Rochelle worked at Sears & Roebuck, Dodge City Community College and retired as manager of Southwest Government Employees Credit Union. She made many long-time friends during her career.
Her kind heart was filled with love for her family, especially the children. She was happiest when her house was full of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. Rochelle carried on many family traditions passed on to her from women before her. She cooked large family meals and loved having everyone at her house. She was loyal and devoted to her husband.
They loved to go camping & traveling, play cards & Wahoo with friends and going out to eat “on the hill”.
Rochelle is survived by her children, Debra Jones-Meredith, Greg Jones, Tara Goodsell-Vernon (Todd), Lisa Hattrup (Ken), Karen Winfrey (James) and Bob Jones (Annie); grandchildren, Shelly Rice, Sheila Tasset, Shandale Goodsell, Olivia Jones, Sevena Koehn (Kenny), Melissa Archilla (Rafi), Jeff Jones (Shelley), Erin Shaul (Chad), Katrina Classen and Layna Moore; great grandchildren, Landon, Mason & Daniella Tasset, Kasey, Meagan & Kyle (Erica) Goodsell, Jordan Dao, Brooklyn Rice, Isabelle Gill (George), Mark Archilla (Devin) and Josie & Pike Shaul; great-great grandchildren, Ava, Amaya, Karter, Kaine, Averly, Nash and Raelynn.
She was blessed with sisters Twilla Trease, Glenda Howarth and Kathy Jones; a brother Dean Markland and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond in 2014; granddaughter Jennifer Jones; great-great granddaughter Xya Pruitt; brother Marion Markland, sister Bonnie Campbell and son-in-law Brad Meredith.
The celebration of her life was at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 12, 2021, at Reser Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Warsaw, Missouri 65355.
