Shirley Ann Swanson

Shirley Ann Swanson, age 71, of Deepwater, Missouri passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 in Springfield, Missouri. The daughter of Johnny William Jordan and Virgie Lena (Chastain) Jordan, she was born in Springfield, Missouri on April 24, 1949. She grew up in Cross Timbers and attended school there and later at Skyline, when the students from Cross Timbers were transferred there.
She was united in marriage to Gene Stadler on April 2, 1966 and then to Charles Swanson on June 12, 1986. She made her home in the Finey area of Henry County for forty-five years and was Broker/Owner of Ruby Davis Realty and Agent for Mike Keith Insurance. Shirley was very involved in the Benton County Board of Realtors and Truman Lake Association. She worked tirelessly to promote Truman Lake and the area businesses. She retired in 1998 due to complications with her health.
Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She was famous for spoiling them and always made sure to have special treats at her house when they visited. She shared a special bond with each of her grandchildren and will be remembered by them with love.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Swanson and her parents.
She is survived by two children Albert Eugene Stadler (Jill) of Joplin, Missouri and Audara Lynn Lutjen (Randy) of Clinton, Missouri, four grandchildren; Kerry Andrew Stadler, Dylan James Curtis Lutjen, Ethan Jordan Lutjen and Tara Kingrey (Skylor), and two great-grandchildren; Sierra Midence and Gabriel Kingrey.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday April 14, 2021 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
