Stephan Irvin Grobe
Stephan Irvin Grobe, 66 of Warsaw Missouri, passed away unexpectedly during the night in his home Saturday 2/27/2021 From a cardiac related event.
He was born in Salina Ks. November 1954. He graduated class of 1972 From Warsaw high school. He attended a few years of college at state fair community college in Sedalia. He was a self-proclaimed above proficient hunter, marksman, angler supreme, golfer and all around outdoorsman. Who would always say “fishing sucks! Catching fish is what I like to do!”
He was a million dollar salesman for M&F where he worked for many years and could hustle all the horsehair belts, exotic leather belts, buckles, cowboy hats and accessories. Truly the Steve McQueen of western wear sales and all around coolness!
He was proceeded in death by his parents the legendary Lynn C. & Joleen F. Grobe of Warsaw, A.K.A Mema and Papa. Who I firmly believe were there to pick him up and are now enjoying some heavenly rounds of golf.
Steve was survived by his two daughters Jessica Lynn Grobe (Jessie, JL, sacagawea) & Alexandra Jo Grobe (AJ, zebedee, pontmont) her daughters his two grandchildren Na’talia and Makenna, his Ex wife Ana Grobe of Overland Park Ks. His brother Rod Grobe of Warsaw his sister Linda and her husband
Chuck Smith Orsell, his nephew Brian Grobe and his wife Pam and their two daughters Madison and Kiersten. He worked endlessly to care and provide for his daughters in any way they needed and his aim was true with the unwavering love for his daughters, grandchildren and fur kids Squire Boy and Socky girl.
He was truly unique, his sharp tongue and quick wit didn’t always work to his advantage. Yet he remained confident in speaking his mind uncensored.
Making jokes appropriate or not. If you ever spoke with him there would be more than a few mother F’s peppered in to any topic, a well “seasoned” conversationalist if you will. He always had improving and fixing things on his mind and a bigger heart that he didn’t wear on his sleeve. He loved life and enjoyed being outside on a beautiful day appreciating nature and seemingly always enjoying a smoke. Wonder cove won’t be the same without you dad and we’ll forever keep on country cruising. You are gone but not forgotten. Your legend will reign supreme as long as we have anything to do with it! Rest in paradise Dad, we Love you for eternity. I hope wherever you are, is as you’d say “it’s like a downtown cadillac situation!”
