Thomas Daniel Cocke

Thomas Daniel Cocke, age 63, of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at his home after a long illness. He was born on October 13, 1954, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of William and Patricia (Allison) Cocke.
At an early age the family moved to Sunnyville, California where he graduated from Sunnyville High School and also attended junior college. He first began working for NTI before moving to Missouri.
On December 26, 1988, Thomas was united in marriage to Anita Gardner at Faith Lutheran Church in Warsaw. They made their home in Warsaw for a year before moving to Manteca, California where he worked for waste management for the state of California. They returned to Warsaw in 1992 and he was employed by Qwiki Car Detail Shop in Warsaw and later for Walmart where he worked as a department manager until his health failed.
Tom enjoyed flea markets, antique malls and garage sales. He was always looking for something he could add to his many collections. He loved antiques and was an avid sport collector. He also did woodworking, knife and jewelry making.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Cocke, maternal grandparents, Everett and Opal Allison and an uncle Everett Allison Jr.
Surviving is his wife, Anita, of the home, two daughters, Danielle Cocke and companion, Chris Spooner of Warsaw, Allison(Andrew) Dedman, also of Warsaw, son Darren Kiser, and fiancé, Kailey Hills, of Platte City, MO, grandchildren, Zoey, Ty, and Eli Kiser and Deegan Spooner, all of Warsaw, his mother, Patricia Cocke, of Warsaw, two sisters, Kimberly (Shawn) Moberg of Windsor, CA, Teresa (Michael) Saia, of Valley Springs, CA and a brother, William (Carie) Cocke, of Oakley, CA, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. 
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 13, 2018, at 1:00 P.M., at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, MO. Memorials may be made to Twin Lakes Hospice in care of the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, MO.
