Barbara Ann Williams, 72, of Cole Camp, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, at her home. She was born on August 5, 1952, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, a daughter of Robert Hunter and Alice (Kirby) Angel.

Barb attended Somonauk Elementary School in Park Forest, Illinois, and Crete-Monee High School in Crete, Illinois. She grew up in Park Forest and enjoyed hanging out with friends, horse back riding, riding bikes, ice skating, and hiking in the woods.

On April 15, 1978, at Faith United Protestant Church in Park Forest, Illinois, she was united in marriage to Coy Wayne Williams and they made their home in Richton Park, Illinois. Barb was co-owner of Coy's Auto Rebuilders in Matteson, Illinois, where she spent countless hours taking care of the books and writing estimates.

Barb and Coy came to Cole Camp in August of 1997 and to Coy's amazement, Barb loved it. She had her horses and a view from the back porch over the lake that was unbeatable. She helped build Coy's Automotive in Cole Camp and made it her home as most people would walk in, look at Coy, and ask, "Where is Barb?".

She enjoyed her yearly Las Vegas trip with her mother-in-law, Billy, and Judy Harris. Barb always made time for her kids and grandkids and spending time with her family. She loved going out to eat with family and friends and playing the Lottery. Barb was known to have hit the jackpot many times. She also loved watching her hummingbirds out the living room window, where there could be 30 -40 at a time.

She enjoyed going to the boats, bowling and watching the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. She wore her jerseys in support of the teams and even told her friend Joyce to pray for the Bears instead of her.

Barb is survived by Coy Williams of the home; children, Coy Chad Williams of Cole Camp, Jeri Lynn Drahos and Randy of Manteno, Illinois, and Richard Alan Fox of New Lenox, Illinois; sisters, Janice Jordan of Richton Park, Illinois, Diane Waller and Rich of Park Forest, Illinois, and Joan Clarey of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Tandis Williams, Randy Drahos, Kaitlyn Regel, Ryan Drahos, Lindsey Drahos, and Alice Fox; and great-grandchildren, Te’Leigha, Olivia, Emily, Matthew, Adrian, and Sophia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alice Angel, and brother, Robert (Bob) Kirby Angel.

Memorial services will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Coy's Automotive, 811 E. Main Street, Cole Camp. Burial will be in Laurel Oak Cemetery in Windsor.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Laurel Oak Cemetery in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfuneralhomecolecampm o.com.
