Missouri magazine is an online publication that highlights great places around the state for a vacation, dining and special services.
Cheri Cranford, Missouri Magazine’s CEO and Founder, is thrilled and excited to note the increase in entries and votes in the “Best of Missouri” awards.
The magazine’s recognition is in it's ninth year and as the publication states, “The awards are a celebration of the people, places and experiences that makes the state of Missouri great.
The following is a list of Benton County businesses that were recognized by Missouri’s Best 2025:
In Cole Camp, RiOak took the honor in the Home and Wardrobe category. Aces and Eights won again for best Pawn/Resale Shop and Back In Time Toys found itself in the winning circle once more. Blue Bird Adventures was chosen as best RV Rentals.
When it comes to good food, the German town of Cole Camp excels. The Rupe Family Farms took a plaque for best fresh produce. Handel Haus’ salads were winners again as was Calgaro’s Family Pizza. The German Table was voted best German food and new this year is Missouri Made, taking the Best of the Show-Me State with Missouri Made Shop and Comfort Food.
Warsaw is known for being a vacation destination so it was great to see Beyonder Marina at Sterett Creek recognized. When the fishermen need their boats serviced, they can visit Angler’s Port Marine who also won recognition.
For the gals, there are great t-shirts and accessories at Country Charm and LOZ Outfitters won in the Best of Fashion category. For a little pampering, another business in the winner’s circle for Best Premium Eyelash Extension Salon is the XIE’s Live, Love, Lash LLC.
Cosmic Cafe took the award for Best Breakfast. Garret Aerosmith’s “Pillars to Post” home inspection took a first too. Johnson Tax & Bookkeeping Service on Highway 65 in Lincoln was also an honoree.
Area residents should be proud to live in a county that has so many small businesses that not only excel at what they offer, but take great pride in it too!
