Its not too late to sign up for the Benton County Elks Lodge #2783 Crawl. It is scheduled for January 25, 2025. The crawl will leave our parking lot at 9:00 AM in a 56-passenger deluxe coach driven by a Village Travel driver. We will first go to the Springfield lodge, then the Bolivar lodge and the final stop will be the Stockton lodge. We will return to our lodge by 9:00 PM. This crawl is for Elks members, their spouses or significant others. The expected cost will be $40 per person. The crawl will be a great time with fellow Elks and a chance to meet members of other lodges. Contact John Way at (913) 687-0430 for information.
Mark your Calendar for February 14! The lodge is planning a Valentines Sweetheart Dinner. This event is open to the public! Enjoy a special 4-course dinner including appetizer, salad, entrée and dessert. One drink of your choice is also included. There will be 2 sitting times for your choice: 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM. The cost for each couple is $75. Reservations will be required by February 7.
Golfers, save the date of May 17, 2025! The Veterans committee is in the process of planning a fundraiser for next year. The Elks will be hosting a 4-person scramble to be held at Shawnee Bend Golf Course. Volunteers for preparation and activities during the scramble are still welcome and needed. Please contact Pattie at (660) 221-4230 to volunteer or for information.
Volunteers are needed for building maintenance, grounds maintenance, kitchen help, assisting with events, helping to keep the bathrooms neat and clean. Please call the lodge at (660) 438-9498 to volunteer.
