Cardinals Soundly Defeat Northwest On Homecoming

It is always nice to win on homecoming and the Lincoln boys didn't disappoint last Friday. Lincoln led 12-11 after the first quarter against Northwest in Lincoln on their way to a 53-36 sweet homecoming victory.

Lincoln prides themselves on their defense and on Friday, the boys in red used a hard-nosed defense and a balanced scoring attack to offset the Mustangs' offense.

They added to their lead in the second quarter to lead 30-22 at halftime.

Unsung hero, Braden Benham led with 12, steady Ben Eckhoff had 11 and athletic Riley Sanders tossed in 10.

The Cardinals moved to 13-2 and Northwest fell to 5-11.
