The gym at the Warsaw Community Building is reserved, the concessions are bought and teams are being formed for the 2nd Annual Cornerstone Academy of the Ozarks 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament to be held on Saturday, March 18.
The tip-off for games will be at 9:00 AM and the tournament is open to teams of girls, boys, women and men. Divisions will be split by grade (K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-12) and age (18-30, 30+).
All games will be played on a half-court and each basket will be good for 1 point. However, anything made from beyond the arc will be a successful 2-point shot. Every division will be timed with a running clock and teams will be allotted one 1-minute timeout per game. The only other instance for the clock to be stopped will be due to injury.
Each division will play a 4 team round robin bracket, if possible or a 3 team round robin bracket, if needed.
The tournament is open to all teams, or an individual player may also enter and be placed on a team. The entry fee for the event is $50 per team or $20 for an individual player.
A roster and a liability waiver for each participant must be filled out on the day of the event prior to playing their first game.
All entries must be turned in by Friday, March 3, 2023.
For players and fans alike, concessions will be available.
Admission is FREE, but a free will donation will be taken at the door. There will be several door prizes and lots of fun for all who spend their Saturday at the gym!
