Donna L. Bair, age 90, of Warsaw, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026, at her home. She was born on July 25, 1936, in Moulton, Iowa, the daughter of Carey and Etha Swartz. Donna grew up in Ottumwa, Iowa and graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1955.
On February 17, 1956, she was united in marriage to Robert E. “Bob” Bair. They were blessed with two sons, Michael and Douglas.
Donna worked as a secretary for much of her life at the Ottumwa City Hall and the North Kansas City School District. In the late 1990s, Donna and Bob retired to Truman Lake in Warsaw.
She was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church and loved her Lord, her family, and her friends. She enjoyed having family at the lake for barbecues. Donna was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. She also loved reading and always had a book close by.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob; and her son, Doug.
Donna will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Michael Bair and his wife, Karen, of Kansas City, Missouri; her grandson, John Bair and his wife, Brandi, of Kansas City; her granddaughter, Jessica McBee and her husband, Zach, of Downing, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Olivia and Anthony Bair and Payton, Wesley, and Gabriel McBee; her brother, Stan Swartz, of Ottumwa, Iowa; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2026, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Warsaw. Interment will follow the funeral at the Vansant Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Reser Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Warsaw.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Grove Baptist Church or the Benton County Cancer Fund.
