The Fristoe area was blessed with lots of moisture this past week making all the seeeds that have been put in the ground begin to grow. On Sunday morning Turkey Creek was roaring, with water over several of the low water bridges in the area. Stations talking on the weather Sunday evening said that it would be sunny and nice on Monday.
Prayer requests for the week are for Kathy First, Steve Gemes, Gladys Harris, Dorothy Thomas, Bud Hatch and all who are suffering allergies right now.

Many things going on the next 2 or 3 weeks with school coming to an end. I have a granddaughter, Ryleigh Reno in Kearney who is graduating from high school this year. Laney was last year and Maddie will be yext year. Where does time go?
Fristoe Pentecostal Lighthouse Church is adding on to the church. God is blessing the church and it is growing. The church was started to be built in 1934. Br. and Sis. Joe and Carrie Yeager donated the land that the church is built on. A Bro. Dudley was the first pastor.
The church had an Easter service this Sunday morning and had quite a few youngsters to share Easter with. Dave and Connie were back to lead song service, along with Bryan and Sue. Sue sang a special as well as Claude and Delores. The adult Sunday school class moved to 2nd unit of study covering Christ's Resurrection and what a good lesson! Br. Tony's message was from the book of Isaiah, chapter 51.
