Jill Renee Logan, 48, of Cole Camp, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at her home. She was born on May 21, 1978, at Bothwell Hospital in Sedalia, Missouri, a daughter of Gale and Shirley (Nichols) Logan.
Jill's love for people made her many friends at the nursing home as she would go from room to room to visit with residents, read them the newspaper, play games, or hand out popcorn. Jill was given the opportunity to attend Wonderland Camp and was elected to serve as their poster child in 1982. She enjoyed visiting with her friends and attending school events, especially her senior prom. In 1997, she graduated from Cole Camp High School and moved to Columbia to attend business classes at Columbia Vocational College.
Jill then moved to Sedalia and worked for Sutherland's. Volunteering was her life, Jill was always up for helping others and helped at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia at the check-in desk and delivering mail throughout the hospital. She took frequent trips to Wal-Mart on her jazzy scooter but on her days off she would catch a ride with her mom or dad back home to Cole Camp where her heart was.
Jill loved going to concerts with her Aunt Joyce so much, that between 2009 and 2025 there was only one year that she missed attending a country music concert at the Missouri State Fair.
Jill was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, where she would help sort clothes for the back to school clothing drive. These were days she didn't mind getting up early unlike the early morning fishing trips with her Dad. She always gave him a growl and said, "The fish will wait on us."
The Cole Camp Fair was important to Jill, she never missed attending. It was a time that everyone would get together and everyone was happy. She enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs and the KC Wolf. She also enjoyed hanging out with her puppy, Willow.
She is survived by her parents, Gale and Shirley Logan of the home; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jill was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Blanche Nichols and Ryland and Wanda Logan, and uncle, Ronnie Logan.
