John Henry McMurphy, Jr., age 41, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at his home in Adrian, Missouri.
John Henry McMurphy, Jr. was born on May 29, 1983 in Richmond, Missouri to John Henry McMurphy, Sr. and Anna Louise (Daughtery) McMurphy.
John enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, hunting, online gaming, smoking meats, movies, reading and taking cruises with his wife and family. He worked for Compass Health Network and was an instrumental part of the IT department for 8 years and was recently promoted to Dental IT Manager.
John had a big heart for kids in need no matter what the age and was always ready to defend and protect. He was able to fuel this passion with his membership in (BACA) Bikers Against Child Abuse.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Anna and John Henry McMurphy, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Rebekah Michelle (Thompson) McMurphy, 3 Daughters: Angel May McMurphy, 21, of Norborne, MO., Alexandria Louise McMurphy, 18, of Columbia, MO., Keira Annabeth McMurphy, 10, of the home, his Mother and Father in law, Pamela Renea (Dillon) and Michael Lee Thompson of Urich, MO., his brother in laws, James Michael Thompson and Bryan Jordan Thompson, his sister in law Candace Lee Thompson ( spouse of James), along with numerous nieces and nephews, and other family and many friends.
A memorial visitation was held October 5, 2024 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, MO.
Services were under the direction of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, MO.
