Karen Lee Wikoff, age 73, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri.
Karen was born on May 18, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Norma Ruth (Boes) Fisher. She grew up in Shawnee Mission, Kansas and graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School. Over the years, she worked in real estate and as an executive assistant in the investment industry, where her warm personality and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on both coworkers and clients. Later, she successfully started her own personal concierge business before retiring.
On July 18, 1997, Karen was united in marriage to Brad Wikoff. Together, they made their home in Overland Park, Kansas, before settling permanently at their beloved lake home in Warsaw, Missouri, in 2020.
Throughout her life, Karen was full of energy and passion. In her younger years, she was an avid enthusiast of exercise and physical activity—even winning a hula-hooping contest she loved to boast about. Later in life, she channeled that same enthusiasm into rescuing and caring for animals, a cause that was very close to her heart.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Brad Wikoff; their two daughters, Shannon Pflumm and her husband, Garrison, of Gardner, Kansas, and Brandi Moore and her husband, Frank, of Lenexa, Kansas; and her four sisters: Cynthia Fuller and her husband, Charles, of Overland Park, Kansas; her twin sister, Sharon Fisher, of Lenexa, Kansas; Robin Cox and her husband, Jim, of North Kansas City, Missouri; and Joni Stonestreet of Prairie Village, Kansas.
She is also survived by three cherished grandchildren: Caleb Pflumm and his wife, Hanna; Lukas Pflumm; and Jayla Levine, as well as numerous nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Karen’s beloved fur-babies also held a special place in her heart—her dogs, Shelby, Kramer, Benji, Rosie, Roxie, Trixie and Sophie; her cats, Miss Kitty and two ferals, Owlie and Blackie along with a few others.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M.
Karen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
