The Butler Lady Bears defeated Cole Camp 11-2 on Friday, May 3, in Versailles in Class 2 District 8 play, thus ending the season for the Lady Bluebirds.
Kylee Dubray did a number on the Lady Bluebirds, allowing just 1 hit and driving in 4 runs that included a home run, a triple and a single in a 3 for 4 day at the plate.
Kate Harrison singled in the sixth for Cole Camp's only hit. Dubray walked 8 but struck out 12.
Emma Thayer took the loss, giving up 7 earned runs on 7 hits, striking out 9 and walking only 2.
The game's outcome wasn't really in doubt, barring a big comeback as Butler jumped out to a 5-0 lead after three and led 8-1 after five.
Cole Camp finished at 10-7 for the season.
