Greetings. Below are the cases that were resolved/indicted in the Associate and Circuit Courts of Benton County from April 1st – 30th, 2024.
Dispositions:
William M. Devaney: male, age 45, Warsaw, MO, was found guilty of the misdemeanor charge of Property Damage in the 2nd Degree and sentenced to 35 days in the Benton County Jail.
Patrick T. Peterson: male, age 60, Warsaw, MO, was found guilty of the felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance and sentenced to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Dustin A. Reid: male, age 36, Warsaw, MO, was found guilty of the misdemeanor charge of Fail to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway When Roadway was of Sufficient Width, Resulting in an Accident and sentenced to 30 days in the Benton County Jail.
Sage Degraffenreid: male, age 25, Clinton, MO, was found guilty the felony charge of Stealing – 4th or Subsequent Offense Within 10 Years and sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Joseph G. Hagston: male, age 46, Lincoln, MO, was found guilty of the felony charge of Resisting Arrest/Detention/Stop by Fleeing – Creating a Substantial Risk of Serious Injury/Death to Any Person and sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Hagston was also found guilty of the felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance and sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Hagston was also found guilty of the felony charge of Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree and sentenced to 3 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Hagston was also found guilty of the misdemeanor charge of Property Damage in the 2nd Degree and sentenced to 10 days in the Benton County Jail.
Nathan D. Thompson: male, age 44, Warsaw, MO, was found guilty of the felony charge of Driving While Revoked/Suspended and sentenced to 1 year in the Benton County Jail.
Robert W. Beck: male, age 42, Lincoln, MO, was found guilty of the misdemeanor charge of Tampering With a Witness at a Jury Trial on April 30, 2024. Sentencing hearing is upcoming and will be reported once sentence has been handed down.
Indictments:
Nicholas P. W. Beck: male, age 23, Urich, MO, was indicted on the felony charges of Assault in the 3rd Degree and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
Christal R. Bunner: female, age 43, Lincoln, MO, was indicted on the felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child Involving Drugs in the 1st Degree – 1st Offense.
Samantha K. Dobnikar: female, age 32, Sedalia, MO, was indicted on the felony charge of Trafficking Drugs in the 2nd Degree.
Cody R. F. Fulks: male, age 21, Lincoln, MO, was indicted on the felony charges of Attempt to Manufacture a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Joseph G. Hagston: male, age 46, Lincoln, MO, was indicted on the felony charge of Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree.
Brian Morse (Birdsong): male, age 37, Warsaw, MO, was indicted on the felony charge of Failure to Appear.
Richard T. Washburn: male, age 36, Clinton, MO, was indicted on the felony charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Endangering the Welfare of a Child Involving Drugs in the 1st Degree – 1st Offense, and Burglary in the 2nd Degree.
