Robert Oscar Roy

Posted

Robert Oscar Roy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30th. He was a beloved father to Gerald, Phillip, Marguerite, Francis, Martin, Therese, Jacqueline, and Robert as well as a grandfather and great-grandfather.
Robert was a longtime resident of Lincoln, Missouri and had an indelible impact on the local community. He dedicated his earlier years to a successful career, working as an executive at Eastman Kodak for 27 years and later serving as a Technical Corporate Manager with Number 1 Network for another decade. Upon retirement, Robert followed his lifelong passion for ranching, raising Red Angus cattle on his property in Lincoln.
Robert was married to Raymonde T. Roy for 55 years until her passing. He later found companionship again and married Marilyn Broadwell. Together, they made their home in Lincoln and shared many meaningful years until his passing.
Deeply committed to his faith and community, Robert was a devoted member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cole Camp, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a proud member of the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association. He also served on numerous school boards supporting the education of his children.
Robert’s legacy is one of dedication—to his work, his family, his community, and his values. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
