On Saturday afternoon,with the ice in the parking lot finally melting, Russellville came to town and defeated the Lady Bluebirds, 53-31 behind 5'2" freshman Abby Forsee's 32 points. She was 3-for-3 from the charity stripe and had 11 steals.
Russellville jumped out to a 15-4 first quarter margin and then exploded for 22 more in the second to put Cole Camp down at the half 37-15.
It was 48-20 after three.
Two stats tell the tale as Cole Camp had 26 turnovers compared to 11 for Russellville and the Lady Bluebirds had 7 points on turnovers compared to 28 for Russellville.
Free throws were about even as Cole Camp was 3-for-4 and Russellville went 4-for-5.
Cole Camp fell to 2-12 and with one game result unavailable, Russellville climbed to 8-8.

On Saturday afternoon, in a break in the extreme cold weather, Russellville traveled to Cole Camp and defeated the Bluebirds, 69- 43. They scored 21 points in each of the first three quarters, leading 21-13, 42-20 and 63-34.
Coming in, Cole Camp coach Kevin Shearer knew it would be a huge challenge for his young inexperienced team.
On the encouraging side, Colton Dieckman, who has been struggling scoring, netted 13.
Cole Camp fell to 2-11 and Russellville jumped to 12-6.
