WARSAW HIGH SCHOOL'S Chamber Choir was recently recognized by the Missouri State High School Activities Association(MSHSAA) with the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for the 2023-2024 school year. Students of this choir achieved a combined Grade Point Average of 3.50 or above in their academics while also participating in interscholastic activities. Marty Marsh, Assistant Executive Director for MSHSAA stated, “As an integral part of education-based athletics/activities, it is important to recognize outstanding performances on the field, court, stage, or in the concert hall; however, it is equally as essential to recognize both individual and team accomplishments in the classroom. The Scholastic Achievement Program is the current process MSHSAA uses to acknowledge academic achievements. Congratulations to Warsaw Choirs on being recognized as a Missouri State High School Activities Association Scholastic Achievement Award recipient during the 2023-2024 academic year.” The chamber choir is under the direction of Deanna Schockmann.
