WHS Courtwarming Royalty Will Make It 'Reign' On February 10

Warsaw High School will celebrate their 53rd Courtwarming next Friday night, February 10, when they host and take on the Butler Bears.
The week leading up to Courtwarming will include special days for students.  "Candyland" is the theme for Courtwarming 2023 with Tuesday being Twix Day; Wednesday is Jolly Rancher Day; Thursday will be 1,000 Grand Day and Friday will be the school's traditional Color Wars Day when each class will wear their assigned school colors.
On Friday, the students will participate in a fun Courtwarming Assembly  with games and other fun near the conclusion of the school day.
Friday night's events will all be part of an Ozark Highlands Conference "Super Night".  There will be games in both the middle school and high school gyms.  Both varsity games will take place in the high school while both junior varsity contests will be  hosted in the gym at John Boise Middle School.  The Ladycats varsity and the Wildcats junior varsity will tip-off at 6:00 PM with the other two contests to follow.
The Warsaw varsity cheerleaders will also be presenting the little cheerleaders during the Courtwarming activities on Friday night as the elementary girls present their cheers and dance routines.
The Courtwarming court will consist of junior princess candidates: Josephine Kelsey, Charlotte Alspaugh and Olivia Strange.  Junior prince candidates are Elliot Kowal, Zane Huffman and Dylan Elmer.  Senior queen candidates are Ashley Spry, Abegail Dendish and Karly McKenna and senior king candidates include:  Cohen Walton, Landon Boggs and Logan Schockmann.    The princess, prince, queen and king will be crowned at halftime of the varsity boys game.
