Wilford S. Kreisel, known to many as "Punk," passed away peacefully in Lee's Summit, Missouri, on April 21, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on March 13, 1938 in Benton County, Missouri, Wilford was a long-time resident of Lee's Summit.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Kreisel, and his two cherished daughters, Lisa Lynn Shroyer and Kimberly Ann Kreisel. Wilford was also predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Kreisel, and his brothers, Chris Kreisel, Marvin Kreisel, Hank Kreisel, Jim Kreisel, and Larry Kreisel, as well as his sisters, Betty Balke, Iva Scott, and Patsy Casey.
Wilford's memory lives on through his loving daughter, Kellie Smith, and her husband, Chad; his adored granddaughter, Bailey Wold, and her husband, Jacob; and his dear brothers and sister, Mike Kreisel, Buck Kreisel, and Carol Bishop.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Langsford Funeral Home on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am at the same location. Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Lincoln, Missouri at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Wilford's memory to Ascend Hospice, 783 NE Anderson Lane, Lee's Summit, MO 64064.
