At the regular meeting on November 6, City of Warsaw Chief of Police Sean McCannon submitted his resignation. Chief McCannon provided his resignation so he can pursue another opportunity.

During his tenure with the City of Warsaw, his 30 years of police service helped to modernize the department with updated equipment.  He wrote two successful grants; one for new body cameras that provide clear pictures in either day or night and another for radars.  Before his resignation, he was assisting the city to pursue funding for up-to-date laptops for police vehicles.

Chief McCannon provided his department and community with undivided support, compassion and experience.  The Board of Alderman thanked him for his service and wished him the best in his new career opportunity.
