Have I Got A Line For You!

Investigations are underway about the President being compromised by Hunter’s foreign deals. They involve 50 countries. Hunter has been cited 150 times in “Suspicious Activity Reports” by the Treasury Department. The rules to hand over these reports were abruptly changed and it looks like the “goods” will stay sealed. Our federal government needs a chainsaw taken to every agency and department. It’s being run by a bunch of political cartels. This whole fiasco reminds me of mafia movies when the Don’s son keeps creating major problems and the Don sends one of his capos to fix it. Hunter’s shady dealings should be investigated, but I hope our elected officials remember we have other pressing issues. But hey, these investigations will bring gas and grocery prices down, you bet! There’s a lot more to focus on than the Biden family’s financial shenanigans.

Speaking of investigations, it didn’t take long after The Donald announced another Presidential run that a special counsel was appointed. What a waste of taxpayer money and legal resources. Taking a war crimes prosecutor and using him for a political carnival. President Trump is already the most investigated person in history and they got nothing. Stalin would be envious of how weaponized our Justice Department has become. Maybe these investigations are being done so they don’t have to prosecute Nancy for insider trading.
We ought to clear Hunter anyway. He’s devoting his life to art. Would you try to indict Grandma Moses? In the meantime, as long as the checks and giveaways continue to keep the masses happy, who cares about tomorrow.

Let’s switch to something else. Saw a commercial last night urging people to have family meals together and not just on Thanksgiving. Remember how we all took that for granted years ago, especially at supper time and Sunday dinners? It’s just the way it was, and what a great way it was! Grandfather White sat at the head of the table and “fixed the plates,” which were passed around. For seconds, you just asked for the serving dish to be sent your way.

This just came to mind. Bet a lot of us wish we could have turned those clocks back a few years on November 1, instead of an hour.  Sure would like to do that…..for about a week and then return to family and friends in the great here and now. How about you?

Ach du lieber. Hard to think this morning, bustling office. Glad to see my sister Julie walk in and I’m taking her to lunch. The morning has disappeared, never to return. That’s okay by me. I’m off to more exciting things, like having lunch! Listen, have a happy and safe Thanksgiving. Take care old buddy.
