Hamburgers are beloved by just about everybody. While living in Paris many decades ago, it was not easy to find a hamburger. Despite loving French food, an American hamburger was what I often craved. (I still do)

Upping the ante now on burger cuisine, a couple of sauce recipes can elevate your dinner. The fake Shake Sauce (Shake Shack) is a favorite. The main point is to make sure the dill pickle is very finely chopped.

½ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
4 slices kosher dill pickle, finely chopped
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon paprika
Pinch cayenne pepper

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high, scraping down sides as needed for about 1 minute. Refrigerate until needed.
