Any ladies out there ready to get out and golf this year? Want to meet other ladies who love to golf? You can!
Come out to the Shawnee Bend Ladies Golf league kick-off event on Tuesday, April 16! Social time begins at 5:00 PM and our meeting starts at 5:30 PM. You can find out more about this great time on Tuesday evenings during warmer weather! MARK YOUR CALENDARS! We would love to meet new ladies who would like to possibly join us and, of course, our returning members!
If you are already part of the ladies league, please bring an hors d'oeuvre. We are a NO DRAMA, FUN TIME league! ANY skill level and ANY age!
We are a 2-lady team format so if you have a friend to bring, please do! If you don't have someone to team up with, we can help you with that. You can also start as a substitute if you are the least bit unsure! (Subs can play every week as well.)
It is only $30 to join our league. It will cost $15 per round at the course (including cart and that is a league discount). Each week you pay $5 for the night. We have different games every week and a banquet at the end!
We will start on April 30. That night will be an easy scramble evening and we will start keeping track of team scores the third week in order to give everyone time to get new members and keep practicing. We will play all summer long and the last day will be Tuesday, September 3.
If you are already a member or considering joining, please get out and start playing as soon as you can. Keep your scores if you are not a member of the GHIN handicap system yet and, if you are, please start recording. It is best to have 10 scores to get started but not a requirement. (We will require 5 scores to get you a local handicap but it is not official until there are 10 scores).
