Smart Start Now Taking Donations For Upcoming School Year

The Benton County Human Services Council is pleased to announce that the Benton County Smart Start and Health Fair will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at John Boise Middle School in Warsaw. 
If a child attends school in the Benton County area at home, online or in Christian or Public School that student will qualify. 
The Benton County Human Services Council is collecting school Supplies at Shirley’s Highway Café in Lincoln, Lincoln Antique Mall on Highway 65, State Farm Insurance office at 1605 Sunchase Avenue in Warsaw, Pump 'N Munch in Edwards at the junction of Highway 65 and Highway 7 and Citizens-Farmers Bank at 121 Main Street in Cole Camp.  
Items being collected are: baby wipes, Kleenex boxes, Expo dry erasers, Expo dry eraser markers (dark colors), 1 inch binders, large pink erasers, pencil pouches, pens (red, blue, black) Crayola colored pencils, Elmers glue bottles, Elmers glue sticks, Blunt scissors, folders (3-hole), highlighters. composition books, 150 count loose leaf paper and 1 subject notebooks. 
Smart Start is a free event, but if you would like to donate to the Smart Start program, monetary donations may be made in the form of a check by mailing to: Benton County Human Services Council, P.O. Box 1431, Warsaw, MO, 65355.
