Tatum Bohl Brings Home Ideal Miss Missouri Crown

Warsaw’s 2022 Jubilee Days Queen, Tatum Bohl, recently added another crown to her growing collection as she was crowned America’s Ideal Miss Missouri Teen 2024 in Shawnee, Kansas on October 28.

A junior at Warsaw High School, Bohl also won the senior division photogenic award at the competition as well as scholarship opportunities when she continues her education after high school.

“It has been an amazing experience to meet so many wonderful people,” said Bohl.

While she serves as America’s Ideal Miss Missouri Teen, Bohl will be involved in community service.  Her platform of “Crown Fighting Cancer” came from her own mother’s fight against breast cancer.  Kim Bohl was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and has now been in remission for seven years.

In addition to her recent title, Bohl was also crowned as the USA Nation Miss and the National Elite Miss both in 2023.

In addition to contests, Bohl was asked to participate in a fashion week in New York City on September 23 for a boutique featuring clothing by Jonathan Kayne.

Over Thanksgiving break, Bohl will travel to Orlando, Florida to compete in the Top Model event sponsored by Top Model Magazine.  Coincidentally, she had been selected to attend the UCA All-American Cheerleading event too, but both events will be happening at the same time.

“I earned All-American at cheer camp again this year," Bohl said. "The coach and other All-Americans are attending the Thanksgiving Day Parade at Walt Disneyworld in Orlando, but even though I will be in Orlando, I won’t be able to perform.  I’m so excited and honored to announce that I will be participating in Top Model Magazine Top Model of the Year event though."

In addition to her time on the runway, Bohl is a varsity cheerleader for the Wildcats and the captain of the Emerald Stars dance team at WHS.  Outside of school, Bohl dances with the All-Star Dance Academy.

Bohl said she would encourage girls to take a chance and put themselves out there.

“Don’t be afraid,” said Bohl.  “The opportunities I have had are so amazing.  All of the competitions have been opportunities to win scholarships.  I feel incredibly lucky to be on this journey.  And it all started after I was crowned Warsaw Jubilee Days Queen."

She added, "Thanks to everyone who made this possible, especially my mom.”
