Great weather encouraged crowds at the Thirty-second Annual Benton County Rodeo sponsored by the Shawnee Masonic Lodge #653 on September 1 and 2.
Royalty crowned during the annual rodeo included: Queen, Morgan Branson; Princess, Daylen Winkler and Li'l Miss, Brylinn Cox.
“We always send a special thank you to the people that make it all happen Dick Lewis and Eryn Kellner. Thank you for everything you guys do for us girls, you are so appreciated,” said Queen Morgan Branson.
Winners in the Saddle Bronc competition included: first place, John Allen, 80 points, $280.60; second place, Jack Pittman, 73 points, $168.36; third place, Chase Gabriel, 70 points, $112.24.
Bull riding winners included: first place, Koby Usmar, 79 points, $386.40; second place, Jesse Tillman, 77 points, $268.64.
Winners in Open Calf Roping included: first place, Jared Kempker, 8.9 time, $533.60; second place, Wade Perry, 9.3, $400.20; Houston Shipley, 9.9, $266.80; fourth place, Wenten Reiter, 10.1, $133.40.
