Time To Celebrate! WHS Homecoming This Friday Night

Warsaw High School alumni and student body will celebrate the 2000's at their annual Homecoming on Friday, September 30, as the Wildcats battle the Eldorado Springs Bulldogs on Randy Morrow Field.  The WHS Student Council has planned a number of activities to celebrate this year's Homecoming.
WHS Spirit week will celebrate the 2000's with dressing as their favorite celebrity from the early 2000's on Wednesday, Y2K on Thursday and Color War Day on Friday with seniors dressing in black, juniors in white, sophomores in gray and freshmen in green.
WHS football players and cheerleaders will travel to North and South Elementary on Friday morning to present assemblies to the elementary schools’ students.
Then on Friday at 12:45pm, the WHS band and color guard will kick off the parade down Main Street which will feature the Homecoming Royalty candidates, the WHS Varsity, Middle School and Youth cheerleaders, the volleyball, cross country and dance squads.  The Wildcats football team, as well as middle school and youth football teams will also be riding in the parade.  There will also be floats from various WHS clubs and organizations.  
Students from WHS, JBMS and South Elementary will be bussed downtown to participate in the parade. North School students will walk down the schoolhouse hill.
Kickoff time is 7:00pm.  The entire WHS student body is urged to come and support the Wildcats as they play the Bulldogs.
Coronation of the WHS Football Homecoming royalty will be at halftime as well as performances by the WHS Marching Band, dance squad and cheerleaders.
All WHS students are invited to the Homecoming dance after the game to be held in the WHS cafeteria until 11:00pm.  Middle School students are invited to Fifth Quarter activities sponsored by the Benton County Youth Coalition in the cafeteria of John Boise Middle School.
