A Dawson Parrott single in the first and an untimely error by the Warsaw defense put Lincoln on top early, but Warsaw tied the game in the bottom of the second and then added runs in each of the next four innings to defeat Lincoln last Wednesday night, 7-3.

A 2-2 tie was broken in the fourth when the Wildcats' Logan Gemes scored Jase Hubert on a fielder's choice. Jayce Depriest followed with a single scoring Drake Murrell to make it 4-2.

It was 5-3 after five and the Wildcats tacked on 2 more runs in the sixth for the 7-3 final.

Depriest led the way for Warsaw with 4 hits while Garrett Ferguson, Kendall Bagley and Hubert each had 2.

Ryan Fajen earned the win on the bump. He tossed the 7 inning complete game, surrendering 3 runs on 8 hits while striking out 6.
Zaden Cole and Parrott both had 2 hits for the Cardinals.

Hunter Vandaveer absorbed the mound loss for Lincoln. He went 6 innings and yielded 7 runs on 13 hits, striking out 2.
