Weekend Boutique Crawl Ready To Run At Full Speed

As the summer season kicks off around the Twin Lakes area, lots of people are heading to Benton County to go fishing or hunting, however, another reason to come to the lakes is to participate in the Benton County Spring Boutique Crawl on April 12 and 13. Area merchants are participating in the crawl to encourage shoppers to come take a look at all the great merchandise available in the many small shops in Warsaw, Lincoln and Cole Camp.

How does this work, one might ask? At the first stop, participants will receive a Boutique Crawl Passport with all the stops listed on it. Participants can start at any of the participating shops. At each stop, each participant will receive a stamp or a sticker showing he/she stopped at that location. At the last stop, participants will turn in their FULLY stamped/stickered passports for entry into the $500 GRAND PRIZE DRAWING!!! Second prize is $330 in gift cards and third prize is $220 in gift cards.

The idea for the Benton County Boutique Crawl was to introduce the various boutiques in Benton County to shoppers and encourage them to shop local.

“We welcome this opportunity to encourage shoppers to ‘shop small’ and help Benton County to grow as a destination shopping experience,” said Jennifer Flores of Country Charm.

This is a free event. Participants do not have to pay for passports, however, many of the shops will be offering discounts on April 12 and 13. There will also be snack trucks and refreshments at several of the establishments.

“We welcome the opportunity to show customers all we have to offer,” said Mary Langewisch of Statuary Gardens. Statuary Garden located on Main Street in Warsaw also has added home décor, candles, and shoes.

Those boutiques participating in the crawl include: Warsaw - Country Charm, 230 E. Main Street; Statuary Gardens, 233 E. Main Street; The Landing, 305 E. Main Street; and Creative Palatte, 216 W. Main Street.

Lincoln – Palo Pinto Ranch Store, 107 North Highway 65.

Cole Camp - Heide Mae Boutique, 109 E. Main; Mid Missouri Trends, 103 E. Main Street; Rioak Western Design, 116 N. Maple Street; Bee Cherished Flowers and More, 100 N. Maple Street; Wine, Handel Haus, 101 S. Maple Street; Wine, Women and Song, 100 S. Maple Street, Mid Mo Trends, 103 E. Main.
