WPD's Taylor In Accident, Fundraising Underway

Posted
Fundraisers will be held to benefit Warsaw Police Officer Ashley Taylor who was seriously injured in a vehicle accident on Sunday, September 17 while on her way to report for duty.  Taylor is a single mother of 4 children and the hope is that the community, individuals and businesses alike will join together to support Taylor and her family.  Officers go above and beyond for our safety, sworn to protect and serve.
Sportsman Outfitters, along with Warsaw Code Enforcement Officer Brad Blankenship will be raffling an American Tactical Bull Pup 12 gauge shot gun live on “Sportsman Outfitters” facebook page on Tuesday, October 31 at 12:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the City of Warsaw offices at 201 West Main Street or Sportsman Outfitters, located at 129 West Main Street.  Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20.
It’s important in times like this that the community, along with Police Officers, remember the concept of team, and at times that everyone needs help and support in one way or another, on duty and off duty.  The City of Warsaw and it's Police Department are grateful that the community comes together during the good times as well as the bad, and is hopeful that it will do that once again.
For additional information or questions, please call Brad Blankenship at the City of Warsaw at (660) 438-5522 or email:   sean.mccannon@welcometobwarsaw.com or brad.blankenship@welcometowarsaw.com.
