Darla Jean Urbanski, age 73, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, on October 12, 2022. She was born in Cherokee County, Iowa, on October 28, 1948, the daughter of Tom and Doris Owens Coombs.
Darla graduated from Aurelia High School in Iowa in 1967. She then went to cosmetology school and received her cosmetology license in 1968. She worked in several hair shops for awhile and then started trucking where she moved around a lot. In 1973, she moved to Missouri and finally settled in Warsaw, Missouri. She attended State Fair Community College, where she studied accounting and was employed by J&D Pharmacy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Adam Urbanski, a brother, Tommy Coombs, and a sister, Peggy Coombs.
She is survived by her son Ryan Urbanski, a sister, Doreen Ebaugh and a sister-in-law, Denise Coombs, other relatives and friends.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Reser Funeral Home, of Warsaw.
