Marianne Painter, age 85, of Harrisonville, Missouri formerly of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Crown Care Center in Harrisonville. She was born on August 17, 1938 in Roanoke, Missouri the daughter of Edwin C. Lockridge and Hazel Maude (Whitwell) Lockridge. She grew up in Roanoke and attended school there.
In 1957 she was united in marriage to Lawrence “LT” Baldwin. Unto this union three children were born. Marianne worked many years as a cook and in catering. On December 1, 1995 she was united in marriage to Charles Painter. They made their home in Warsaw where they opened and operated A-1 Storage.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Richard Baldwin, three sisters and one brother.
Marianne is survived by four children; Victor Baldwin, of Warsaw, Missouri, Larry Baldwin and his wife Ellen, of Clinton, Missouri, Kathy Bechtel and her husband Larry, of Harrisonville, Missouri and Carolyn Lowe and her husband Todd, of Adrian, Missouri, nine grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.
Graveside services for Marianne Painter will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Riverside Cemetery in Warsaw, with Pastor Jon Spalding officiating.
