Ronnie Dean Butler, age 65, fell asleep in death at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. He was born June 9, 1958 to Hobert and Hazel Butler in Springfield, Missouri one of four children.
He was united in marriage to Robin Whitworth on June 18, 1981 in Clinton, Missouri, from that union came one son, Michael Dean. They made their home in Warsaw, Missouri.
Ronnie dedicated his life to Jehovah on March 26, 1983 becoming a member of the Warsaw Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He remained a member until his death.
Ronnie was born in Springfield, Missouri and grew up in the Weaubleau, Missouri area and graduated from Weaubleau High School class of 1976. He attended Crowder College and played baseball.
For 21 years he worked for Rival MFG Co. as a tool and die maker. In 2002 he went in business for himself as a professional window cleaner until his death.
Ronnie really enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and archery. Ronnie really loved his three granddaughters. He enjoyed sharing pictures of them and talking about them with his friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, Michael Butler of South Bend Washington, three granddaughters Summer and Zoe Butler of Clovis, California and Violet Butler of Raymond, Washington, a twin sister, Pam (David) Gemes of Warsaw, Missouri, a brother, Robert Butler of Bolivar, Missouri, a sister Patricia Butler of Humansville, Missouri, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Warsaw, Missouri on 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9, 2024 with Todd Griffin, officiating.
